Don't Pass Line Bets

There are some really important things that you should know about when you are ready to start playing the most exciting game in the world. Craps has been around for a very long time, and it has gotten better every year. Since gambling was established on the internet, there is no surprise that Craps has been one the most popular games. Before you start to play a game there are some things you need to know, like one of the most used bets on the table.

The Don’t Pass Line Bet is very well known but not always very popular. Online you can make this bet without having to worry about the other people at the table. However if you are in a land based casino, this is not the most popular bet you can make because with this bet you are betting against the shooter and most of the other people at the table. Here’s why, a Don’t Pass Line Bet is the opposite of a Pass Line Bet, which is the most common bet used at the Craps Table. Which basically means that if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 and you make a Don’t Pass Line Bet you lose, if the dice show a 12 you push with the house and if there is a 2 or 3 rolled you win. If the shooter established a point and doesn’t roll a seven before the point is rolled, again, you lose but if they hit the 7 before the point, again you win. If you are a beginner, you might not know exactly what a point is. Well if the shooter throws the dice and they don’t land on 2, 3,7,11, or 12 they land on a point. The points can only be 4, 5,6,8,9 or 10 with a Don’t Pass Line bet you will win if a seven doesn’t come up before the point that was established and lose if the seven does come before the point. This is exactly the opposite of the Pass Line Bet. There are specific places on the table where you can place this bet, it is on the thin line clearly marked Don’t Pass. This bet can be made at all times during the game, just make sure that before you place your bet that someone isn’t rolling the dice.

There are a lot of other things that you should know about when you decide that you want to play Craps at your favorite casino. First of all you are about to join a gaming that will be more exciting than any other game you have played before. You should know which bet is considered a wrong bet and which one is considered a right bet. A Pass Line Bet is the right bet because you are betting with the shooter and a Don’t Pass Line Bet is considered the wrong bet because you are betting that the shooter will seven out (not get his point or 7,11.)
